Dunrovin Country Store has been identified as Moore County's largest and oldest country store located right on U.S. Hwy 1 in Vass, NC.
Dunrovin Country Store carries a wide variety of products such as homemade fudge, Amish food, baked goods, coffee, ice cream, old fashioned candies, homemade soaps, Wilma's Snake Oil, organic and natural foods, loose teas, garden décor, year-round Christmas decorations and much more!
The goal was to bring a more vibrant shopping adventure by filling the store with unique, unusual, and exciting items that would not only appeal to the community, but would also retain the traditional look and feel of old fashioned country stores.
It was decided to build a park behind the store for people to go sit and chat, enjoy an ice cream, and enjoy the sounds of tropical birds.
Dunrovin's Exotic Animal Sanctuary, the only 501c(3) non-profit exotic sanctuary in Moore County, NC, started with about 10 rescues and is now up to over 200!

We will also be closing the park at 5 p.m. every day during the winter months. Thank you in advance for your understanding. You may call the store anytime to check our daily status!

Dunrovin's Exotic Animal Sanctuary is the only 501c(3) non-profit exotic sanctuary in Moore County, NC! We started with about 10 rescues and are now up to over 200!
We take in all kinds of animals including fish, reptiles, exotic mammals, tropical birds, and even some livestock. All the animals that we have rescued stay here permanently so we know they are getting the best care and they aren't stressed moving homes or breaking bonds with people.
Harvey is our ringtail coatimundi. He is one of the friendliest animals here at Dunrovin Exotic Animal Sanctuary with his two favorite things in life being belly rubs and food.
Walter is our green vervet monkey. Unfortunately, Walter has a problem getting along with other monkeys so he had to be rehomed to us.
Timmy is our 26-year-old sulcata tortoise. Sulcata tortoises are the 3rd largest species in the world and can get to be over 150 lbs.
Sam is our keel-billed toucan. Sam is one of the birds in our large aviary and always catches people's eye.
Wally is our rescue bennett's or red-necked wallaby. He is full of energy and always wants to play.
Harley is one of our many macaws. He is a lot of people's favorite here at the park, and loves to play peek-a-boo with our guests.
